Carl Steven Gee, developer of CSG Custom Built Rods, is a Manchester-based angler of 30+ years’ experience with a passion for specimen carp angling.
Carl cut his rod-building teeth working with the legendary Northwestern Rods, developing his own range of bespoke, high-end carp and barbel rods to critical acclaim.
When Northwestern's parent company took the decision to cease production of rod blanks, Carl switched to Harrison blanks, but seeing a gap in the market began development of a quality range of rods hand-built to standard specifications, allowing him to provide a top quality product at a more accessible price.
So we are delighted to introduce the G-Cast range. High end quality at off the peg prices.
